President's Letter: August 2026
August 2026

As I write my final President's message, I find myself reflecting on one word that has guided my service over the past two years: stewardship.
To me, stewardship means caring for something that does not belong to any one person. It means honoring the trust our members place in us, building on the work of those who came before us, and leaving the chapter stronger for those who will follow. Every Board serves for a season, but stewardship continues.
With that in mind, I am pleased to announce the Board that will serve ICF North Florida during the 2026–2028 term.
-
Lisa Kuruvilla – President
-
Della Shaw – Interim President-Elect
-
Jennifer Torres – Immediate Past President
-
Andrea Demps – Secretary/Treasurer
-
Ramona Miyagishima – Director of Membership
-
Stacey Wynn – Director of Programming
Please join me in congratulating the incoming Board and thanking them for their willingness to serve our members and our profession.
I also encourage you to join us for our Annual Meeting on October 10 (registration coming soon), where you'll hear from each Board member as they share their goals and vision for the coming term.
Before then, Lisa Kuruvilla, Della Shaw, and I will represent ICF North Florida at the Southeast Regional Chapters (SERC) Leadership Conference. This year's theme, Leading with Purpose: Strengthening Chapters and Elevating Impact, reflects the conference's focus on helping chapters learn from one another and strengthen the impact we have in our local communities. We look forward to bringing back ideas and insights to share with you at the Annual Meeting.
As I conclude my term as President, I simply want to thank everyone who has contributed to the life of this chapter. Whether you served on the Board, volunteered, attended programs, mentored another coach, or participated in our community, you have helped strengthen ICF North Florida.
Roles change, but stewardship continues. I look forward to supporting Lisa, our Board, and our members as I transition into the role of Immediate Past President.
Thank you for the opportunity to serve.
With gratitude,
