President's Letter: April 2026

Dear Members,
This spring marks an important period of transition for both our chapter and the global coaching profession.
Last week, I attended the ICF Global Town Hall, where upcoming updates related to branding, accreditation standards, and professional expectations were previewed. The full release of these changes is expected on April 13. I encourage members — particularly accredited providers, educators, and mentor coaches — to remain attentive to forthcoming communications.
These developments signal the continued maturation of coaching worldwide, with increasing emphasis on developmental rigor, consistency in education, and strengthened support for coach growth. A phased implementation timeline extending through 2027 will allow for thoughtful alignment.
At the chapter level, we are focused on ensuring strong leadership continuity as we begin forming the 2026 Nominating Committee. This short-term governance effort is essential to sustaining the chapter’s effectiveness. If you feel called to contribute, I invite you to reach out.
We are also exploring opportunities to foster meaningful member connection this spring. If you are interested in helping to shape a chapter-wide or GETs-level gathering, we welcome your ideas and leadership.
As our profession continues to evolve, so too must we — grounded in stewardship, professionalism, and shared responsibility for its future.
More detailed updates will follow once the global announcements are formally released.
